Eventually, one way or another, this awful, so-called 'war, will end. I say so.called, because a real war has two sides, and this dreadful one only has one, in reality.

But what then?

Hopefully what will happen is that the US and the U.K. withdraw support to Israel and Netanyahu resigns, but the reality is that he would be followed by an equally militant PM.

The Gaza strip strip will eventually become uninhabitable and the people existing there at the present time will be either killed or driven out into Egypt and perhaps into refugee camps in the Sinai. Once the strip is clear it will be cleared and utilised as prime waterfront land for the rich.

Expect a similar thing will happen in the West Bank eventually even if Netanyahu isn't in power. Someone equally as bad will replace him. They have discovered that they can kill with impunity so will be emboldened to repeat their actions until those who are unwanted are driven out of the country. I expect the Christians and Druze will be included in this expulsion.

It all depends on how it ends really doesn't it?

I think that Israel will go into Rafah and cause absolute destruction there too. Eventually, the US & UK will withdraw support/persuade Netanyahu to resign and some sort of ceasefire will come about. But by then Gaza will be completely destroyed and nobody will have the money/manpower to rebuild it. Those who remain might be displaced into Egypt and Israel will take over the land.

Israel will remain hated even more so by the Arab countries around it and eventually 'something else' will happen.

They’ll move on to the West Bank. Things are already getting harder there so I guess it’s a matter of time.

What my very smart, eternally optimistic, depite a literal PhD in PolSci, idealistic Palestinian friend thinks will happen:
"Amidst all the horror, people will realise what this is, they will rise up, and hold their governments accountable! The whole situation will become unsustainable and, eventually, will result in the enfranchisements of Palestinians in Gaza, occupied East Jerusalem, and the West Bank - and, after a long and painful process (think something akin to South Africa after the collapse of the Apartdheit regime), there will be a One State Solution that, while it will take generations, will end up with everyone "eventually living in freedom, safety, and happy!"

What Bibi thinks will happen:
"Who the fuck even cares about details? The whole point is: if I manage to keep this situation going until my buddy Donald gets back into office, I will think of something! For now, "perpetual, ideally: escalating!, war is a pretty good way to cling on to power while I figure the rest of this shit out! Priorities, though!"

What Ben-Gvir and Daniella Weiss think will happen:
"This is just brilliant, just brilliant!!! At some point, we can just ethnically cleanse Gaza (who even cares about Gaza, though?!). And, once that has been established as a precedent: bye-bye Hebron, Nablus, and Jenin! Let Jordan and the "international community" deal with this shit! They will barely even notice once they have come to terms with "Gaza was sort of normal". What are they going to do, anyway?!"

What I think will happen:
"Eventually, the escalations will go a step to far, and the Israeli regime will be put back onto its leash by its spons, ... erm ... I mean "loyal allies", of course! Benny Gantz - or, at a stretch: Yair Lapid - will be PM of Israel with a lot of help from friends, and will enjoy the full support of Western powers - provided he promises to be a lot less conspicuously outrageous about the whole situation - and we will be looking at some sort of "status quo ante" with slight variations that allow for everyone to save face! Bibi Netanyahu will end up being "designated scapegoat" and "sacrificial pawn" for all of this!"
