Conflict in the Middle East
Scirocco · 02/04/2024 18:41

This is horrific. This is a sustained pattern of behaviour and use of resources to target obvious civilians. How anyone can be aware of this and not recognise it for what it is... Are people's hearts truly so hard?

TwilightSkies · 02/04/2024 18:42

This has been going on for decades! It isn’t new! People are just waking up.

It is horrific and the lowest any human can go to to target innocent children like this. Every other democratic nation puts so many policies in place to protect their children and safeguard them from harm and here you have the Israeli government deliberately targeting them.

Are people's hearts truly so hard? No they are selective about what children they care about. They have created a hierarchy of what children matter and what children don't, they are cruel beyond words.

I think people are starting to believe it and pay attention. The illusion of the most moral army has been swept away.

ScrollingLeaves · 02/04/2024 20:06

A few months ago I got deleted by MN. For saying the IDF shoots children everyday. I apologised.

Now I need to say it again. The IDF shoots children everyday. And not just the dreadfully dangerous stone-throwing youths who are such a threat to the poor soldiers. Little chikdren. Little girls. Little boys.

The IDF has soldiers who get a kick out of sniping at children. They must do or they would not aim at them and shoot them. They must be depraved.

Tripper79 · 02/04/2024 20:11

How can anyone point a gun at a child and pull the trigger? And how can anyone defend that?!

They frequently do on the basis they feel threatened by 7 year olds throwing rocks.

They then use them as human sheilds to exit areas because (naturally) the parents and community are petrified they’ll
take the children and dump in prison which they do.

The prisoner exchange that happened earlier, ok
Israeli hostages were released but some of characters Hamas asked for were children picked up check points going to school, kids lifted sleeping in their beds. And what did Israel say? They want to kill all jews. If any one came and took any one of our babies sleeping from their beds of course we’d want them
back, do that from 1948 onwards there will
be long term inter generational trauma with no end in sight.

More of the same reported by BBC https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-68514581

From the article

The IDF says it has been responding to a surge in terrorist attacks since 7 October and that it "does not target non-combatants including children", using lethal force only when all other options have been utilised. It also says the military complies with international law.

That level of blatant lying is very like the
Russian’s.

The IDF are liars.

ScrollingLeaves · 03/04/2024 14:02

Like the Russians’ I meant - (the Russian government in general.)

TakeMe2Insanity · 04/04/2024 09:09

I know certain parties view instagram posts as fabricated but it allows stories to come out into the open.

A man was released yesterday after 5 years - taken at 15!

Honestly this is heartbreaking. We all need to speak up against this. What I find infuriating is that there is all this evidence there pointing to war crimes like this yet the BBC etc still quote the IDFs lies. We don't let Iran, Russia and China have a platform in our news here, and we don't just accept what they say without analysis, so why is the Israeli Army able to talk shit without it being challenged??

I'm so sorry you were censored for speaking the truth @ScrollingLeaves

I think the tide is slowly turning please see below. I would like to encourage everyone who cares about this issue to write to their MP and demand that the UK stop selling arms to Israel. You can find who your MP and their contact details very easily by googling Find my MP and providing your post code

Thank you. It was before it was quite as clear as it is now though, so more understandable.
