Hamas is aligned with Iran (so is Hezbollah) so if there's any reason needed for removing Hamas from Gaza, here it is.

Horrific they have an appalling Hunan rights record. Unfortunately the western nations supporting Israel in the current conflict has made it more difficult to challenge and change this. I was listening to an Irish woman yesterday on Irish radio she is a UN human rights agent rappateur working in countries like Iran to highlight and work with them on these type of human rights abuses. She said the current support to Israel of countries like the US and UK means these countries are now calling out their hypocrisy and questioning her on their human rights records.

I would be safer in Israel than Iran (despite the existential threats and actions to Israel from it's neighbours).
This kind of politics is like the oneupmanship you see in parliament, creating a power base through public opinion where force of arms isn't an option.
The mullahs of Iran will assert the rightness of their actions in the face of any conflicting public opinion, they have the luxury of not giving a shit.
