The man held with the hostages Israel mistakenly killed [[https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-67746356 www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-67746356

This man lives on the poverty line. surely the BBC have some charitable funds to cover this man’s 5k debt? It seems strange that this article is being read by thousands or millions.

Mr Wichian Temthong

Israel-Gaza: The man held with the hostages Israel mistakenly killed

Wichian spent weeks in Hamas captivity with Yotam, Samer and Alon who, he says, tried to cheer him up.

Poor guy. What an ordeal. He must have been devastated when he heard his fellow hostages had lost their lives.
Yes, I hope someone helps him out financially. To end up with a debt in addition to all that is awful

He was beaten, kept starved, slept in day awake at night but lucky he was released in hostage exchange. Many Thai workers were slaughtered and one beheaded with a garden hoe. So.e survival seems down to random chance other down to nationality or position for exchange. Traumatised and now in debt and called survivor by others.

I hope the aid charities could help people like him too.

The Thai government has approved a compensation fund for Thai workers returning from Israel. I'd hope he would be eligible for that.
