confirmed by Jerusalem post: Avigail Idan, three years old; the Brodutch family: Hagar (40), Ofri (10), Yuval (8) and Uriah (4); Ella and Dafna Elyakim, eight and 15 years old; the Almog-Goldstein family: Chen (48), Agam (17), Gal (11) and Tal (9); Elma Avraham, 84 years old; Aviva Siegel, 64 years old.
i think the 14th hostage is a dual Israeli Russian citizen hence confusion.

Thanks for sharing.

I see there is a shabat table laid for all the hostages and each time someone is released the settings adjusted.

Someone also said that they cannot fully celebrate whilst other hostages are still being held showing unity for all.

InvisibleDuck · 26/11/2023 17:02

The 14th hostage is being reported as Roni Krivoi, a 25 year old man with dual Israeli/Russian citizenship. He was at the Nova festival.

Stomacharmeleon · 26/11/2023 17:04

Putins gonna be pissed if Hamas have mislaid the rest of the Russians

Kaffeebitte · 26/11/2023 17:05

Gaza report on twitter is indicating that some factions are resisting releasing the hostages they hold - which might explain why the baby is still held.

StarbucksSmarterSister · 26/11/2023 17:17

Elma Avraham, 84 years old has been taken straight to hospital in a "serious medical condition". It must have been terribly difficult physically for the elderly.

Hila Rotem was released yesterday without her mother. She is reported as saying the following today:

My mother was with me the entire time of captivity. Hamas separated us two days before the liberation. Mother's condition was good. We were together with Emily.

Mind games, what a surprise.

Ah I see.

XRAYTHIS · 26/11/2023 18:10

May I ask how many hostages are still being held?

EllaDisenchanted · 26/11/2023 18:15

I think roughly just under 200 remain in Gaza. They believe 240 were taken (Hamas never verified), 41 released so far including foreign nationals, 1 rescued and I think 2 murdered hostages bodies found.

@LittleMsTellTheTruth what an inappropriate thread to do this on...
If your going to get your knickers in a twist you could at least spell Palestinian right.
What a joke.
It's like you have forgotten yourself whilst ranting.

Reallifelurker · 26/11/2023 19:10

That is a really foul Anti-Semitic post.

Why don't you post on this thread which was set up a few hours ago

Actually could they not.

StarbucksSmarterSister · 26/11/2023 19:34

I am so overjoyed and relieved for Maayan Zin and her daughters. I've seen her twitter posts and her anguish has been palpable.

Are there more hostages due for release tomorrow?
Is the plan daily release until all are free again?

I'm pretty sure the deal is a 4 day pause and 13 Israelis released each day, so 50-ish in total, then 10 more per day if a longer pause is agreed

If my maths hasn't deserted me that would involve an additional pause of about 20 days, but whether the whole thing will hold together that long is anyone's guess

Trulywonderful · 26/11/2023 19:50

Qatari prime minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani told the Financial Times that more than 40 other women and children were being kept captive in Gaza who were not believed to be held by Hamas.

He said the truce could be extended if Hamas was able to use the pause in the conflict to locate those hostages. “If they get additional women and children, there will be an extension,” Sheikh Mohammed said in an interview. “We don’t yet have any clear information how many they can find because . . . one of the purposes [of the pause] is they [Hamas] will have time to search for the rest of the missing people.”

A four-day pause in the war brokered by the Gulf state which began on Friday is due to end after Monday. As part of the deal the Islamist group agreed to free 50 women and children. In return Israel agreed to the delivery of increased aid into the besieged strip and the release of 150 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.

Oh no, who has them? I hope they're still alive.

Can't stop thinking about baby Kfir and his brother Ariel

Kaffeebitte · 26/11/2023 20:53

I wonder if they might start to negotiate over the men . Difficult for Israel but they’ve done it before .

I am so overjoyed and relieved for Maayan Zin and her daughters. I've seen her twitter posts and her anguish has been palpable.

I saw the video of Hamas holding them hostage at home on that 1st day with their father, his partner and her 17 year old son. The other 3 were all murdered.

I can't imagine what all of these hostages have been through, the children especially. I saw a video today of Emily Hand, she looks absolutely traumatised the poor kid.
