this thread is to document the racist, criminal and dehumanizing behaviour by the most “moral army in the world” both during its most recent bombardment of Gaza and across decades of military occupation in the West Bank.

When you think they can't get any lower, they shock you even more. Shame on the IDF and shame on them for calling themselves the most moral army in the world.

@Brumbies I mean if the IDF let supplies in and didn't bomb hospitals they probably would have given her treatment.... just saying.

I'm not sure what to say about this. Obviously she should not have been taken but of course she didn't receive medication, no one is gaza has been receiving medication. Of course she wasn't visited by the Red Cross, Israel have been systematically killing aid workers and the aid workers had no aid to give. I don't know if you are aware but people were having amputations with no medication, not because they were being cruel but because there was none because Israel wouldn't let in aid. Was there some belief that hostages would have access to things that Palestinians don't?

I thought it was well know that the 'punishments' inflicted on the everyday Palestinians would of course be inflicted on hostages too. You can't give things that don't exist. Elderly Palestinians also have no medication, no food, no water, no beds, no roof over their heads, poor health and no healthcare. The hostages are/were in Gaza and as such they had Israeli led restrictions on food, medication, shelter, aid etc.

Just to add I do hope she gets better soon. My post is in no way a serves them right post, just pointing out the obvious that seems to be missing when you get your information tiktok.

The West are trying to paint Israel as this good guy but this can't be further than the truth. It's not just Gaza they've done this to, take a look at Lebanon. They've bombed them for decades, over 20 years of occupation, war crimes, prison torture and checkpoints.

Israel has painted the Arab world, specifically the Muslims as being blood thirsty war loving criminals/terrorists. But that has been more than projecting an image of themselves.

Because of social media, Israel has been exposed to the world. What Israel is doing in Gaza is nothing new. It's who they are, it's what they do and it's who they will always be.

Yes, I've seen this before. Isn't that interesting? Because Israel and the western media are constantly trying to convince you that they are bloodthirsty and have committed some horrifying crimes. (I'm not disputing their veracity) but on the other side, firsthand accounts from witnesses describe how they were treated while in captivity, and these accounts present a totally different picture of Hamas.

Whether it was right or not, and I don't condone the heinous acts they committed, they had to take action to reclaim their territory and fight back. They could only envision this occurring if they were to exchange Palestinian captives for hostages. Just a thought. I might be wrong.

You really need to be sceptical about that letter. We do know Hamas killed people, in various horrible ways. They may or may not treat hostages reasonably well, and that is probably for practical reasons. But don't jump to conclusions because of a letter that you don't know why it was written, if it's genuine or what state of mind the writer may have been in. I don't think it's helpful.
