this thread is to document the racist, criminal and dehumanizing behaviour by the most “moral army in the world” both during its most recent bombardment of Gaza and across decades of military occupation in the West Bank.

I am not casting doubt. I literally said I believe all the video evidence.

Anything not in the video evidence is what I'm sceptical about. Because the Israeli government has lied so much, it's difficult to figure out when they are telling the truth.

You didn't mean to suggest that there isn't actually piles of evidence of terrorist atrocities by Hamas simply because you haven't personally seen it on twitter and that you do accept there is piles of evidence?

I accept that there is video evidence of Hamas committing atrocities.

I also think there are a lot of claims being made that aren't in the videos ie. 40 beheaded babies, a pregnant woman having her baby cut out of her stomach etc.

I'm not saying that these things didn't happen but what I am saying is that I am hesitant to believe anything the Israeli government says without independent verification from a credible source. I don't think that's an unreasonable position to take.

I saw this yesterday. It's so childish and gross, they've the combined IQs of a field of potatoes. So embarrassing Israelis that this is what represents them.

thank you, yes you’re right it is embarrassing and shameful. These are representatives of a State as members of its official army. Can you imagine if these were British soldiers celebrating this disgusting racist language and rhetoric ? There would be an international outcry and severe reputational damage for Britain. People would have been disciplined and there would be accountability demanded. Unfortunately, this type of behavior is just business as usual for the Israeli army.

it’s been quite a common tactic of the Israeli army to arrest family members who have done nothing wrong either to put pressure on those they are looking for or sometimes merely as collective punishment. Here’s a report by an Israeli human rights organization which highlights this practice:

Punitive house demolitions by Israel - to punish those for the acts of their family members- is also a well known tactic by the Israeli military.

@Desertrose2023 that's terrible. So holding other family members at ransom even the vulnerable to pressure the ones they want to turn themselves in??
Isn't that illegal? I knew things were pretty bad in the occupied West bank but since the war started it has really highlighted how it is actually alot worse than most people knew of.

The orange ribbon was the symbol of protestors who had to leave occupied Gaza. Its obvious that the hope of these soldiers is to re-occupy once again. Its extremely distasteful and to add insult to injury it is in a child's classroom.

can you imagine if a mainstream news broadcaster on an Arab network said that ? It’s really unbelievable how these types of statements are not more widely reported on and challenged by Western media.

That man is so awful, and so much the equivalent of that Hamas monster who said they’d do Oct 7 again and again, that it does the Israeli image huge harm. So much so you’d think he’d have been sacked.

I have definitely seen (2022 when following closely) individual similarly rabid Russian TV hosts on Russian chat shows shouting death to Ukraine.

your banal comment could apply to the hundreds of threads on here. I personally think it’s important to draw attention to the actions of the Israeli army which many posters may not be familiar with. This is especially important in light of the excuses and language Israel is using to justify its current genocide.

It's a form of 'human shields'. The evidence is there that Israel have used this tactic for decades, much more than Hamas (Amnesty International).

This is most disrespectful to the dead and injured, on either side, but it would appear you are triggered by posts highlighting the plight of Palestinians. Anybody can find anything on the atrocities online. Yes they can, does that mean we are not allowed to talk about it? Why are you even on here then?
