Conflict in the Middle East

This is what really bothers me, the completely double standards between a Jewish life and Palestinian one. Even the language used, it is purported that Jewish people have special rights above Palestinians and are capable of feeling emotions/attachments that Palestinians can't (albeit by a few posters on here, but this is most evident when the Israeli government speaks). When you look back to the original Zionist movement, this language and depiction was very purposeful, a form of NLP if you like, to indoctrinate against the human qualities of Palestinians. This makes it much easier to murder, rape, torture and expel them from their homes, because they are not "people like us". This would be an interesting thread by itself, because it's a psychological form of warfare.

Have you watched The Occupation of the American mind? It’s fascinating, and very, very true. It covers exactly this propaganda, but from the point of view of how it has taken over the whole Western world, not just Israel.

What soldiers are saying they're following orders? Most believe in what they're trying to achieve - getting rid of a terrorist organisation that raped, murdered and kidnapped their citizens. That raped a woman whilst she listened to the cries of her baby being burnt to death in the oven (which are war crimes). That's what they're trying to achieve. They're sick of Hamas and them spending all the aid for Gazans on rockets and then crying that Israel prevents it from being a decent standard. They're just done with it all. And they won't stop til Hamas is gone and/or every hostage is released.

And I think it's very easy to sit in your arm chair and say you wouldn't do this or that but you're not living there and you don't know how you'd feel.

And do you really think what the Israeli gov is doing now will get rid of Hamas and the hostages released? Personally I think it will just result in a bigger angrier Hamas and thousands of dead children.

I've said it once and will do again. BN couldn't give a damn about any hostages. He needed an excuse to begin ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank. Those people don't matter to him. 1400 lives in exchange for the eradication of a nation? Collateral damage. If he'd wanted them rescued he would have found a way. With the world's most high tech surveillance systems how could he not?

israel will try to decimate Hamas. This version may fall but do they not think that new cells will appear? All of those kids from displaced families. All the ones left as orphans as their families were bombed to death. These kids. This youth will rise and with it will come more violence and death in future years.
