Israel have also been very open and transparent with their desire to wipe Gaza from the map, and have been trying to do this for many years. Not just since 7th October.

the vile filth that is Hamas hide among the Palestinian civilians, they use them as human shields and it suits them when Israeli bombs aimed at Hamas also hit Palestinian civilians which they use to promote their hate against Israel.

Should we not have bombed Germany to defeat Hitler? Do you know how many innocent German civilians died in the allied bombings? How many German cities reduced to rubble? Germany divided with a huge chunk belonging to the ex Soviet Union, the ultimate open air prison? The allies destroyed many parts of Germany and many Germans to this day suffer from the division between communist east and democratic west. Sadly, peace, sometimes comes at a price. This is a fight against evil, Hamas is evil. Literally in the ultimate sense of the word: evil.

In any case, Gaza declared war on Israel. If Hamas cared about their own people, they'd return the hostages.

If Israel tries to fight Hamas in a built up area they will be at a huge disadvantage. Hamas know the layout and the location of their tunnels and they don't wear uniform, unlike the Israeli army who are nice and easy to pick out. That's why Israel are using air strikes - with disastrous results for civilians.

Fighting terrorism is a dreadful business. It's like playing a football match where only one side is following the rules.

The removal of such posts by mumsnet is understandable, but it does make it hard to see just how common some opinions are. We see that a post has been removed and can only guess at why.

We will have Hamas terrorist attacks in the UK. No doubt about it. Hammas/Hezbollah/Palestinian/Muslim Extremists- call them what you will. It will be carried out under the banner of the mistreatment of Palestine. They are inciting mass hatred and revenge amongst many muslims- not all Palestinian.

And it'll be declared as our faults, due to colonial past/Balfour/random poorly misunderstood history/blah blah.

I think the mass killing of innocent civilians is causing a bit of upset and anguish. Don’t think many people care what Hamas is doing or what they think.
