Of the 50 journalists on the ground in Gaza (residents) 35 have been killed.

Yasser Abu Hilalah, Al Jazeera’s columnist and former director, tweeted, acknowledging the fabrication. “It was revealed through Hamas investigations that the story of the rape of women in Al-Shifa Hospital was fabricated… The woman who spoke about rape justified her exaggeration and incorrect talk by saying that the goal was to arouse the nation’s fervor and brotherhood,” wrote Abu Hilalah.
These revelations have added complexity to an already convoluted narrative surrounding the conflict between Israel and Hamas. The initial report had generated significant outrage and panic, leading to some Gazans fleeing their homes. Jihad Khelles, a pro-Hamas preacher in Gaza, commented on the negative impact of the false report, stating that it “creates panic and fear” and induces “despair and frustration” among Palestinians.

It's not a matter of whether or not I consider AJ as a credible source but whether you have changed your mind about AJ as you are now presenting it as the source of the 'truth' wrt to the rape allegations at Al Shifa

I'm fairly consistent in my ambivalence towards AJ

@EasterIssland no not at all. And that was clearly reported across all media. The IDF should get a bad name for that event. I sincerely hope they learn from it.

They will have learnt to just stick to killing Palestinian aid workers.

Like when they killed the hostages that had a white flag and they recognised their error and repeated it again by killing others ?

al Jazeera doesn’t give a bad name to idf. Idf is doing a terrible job

I never blamed the victims. I blamed those that shot at people carrying a white flag.

There is Spanish journalist that has been in Jerusalem for a while. Today when she was reporting live a person has blocked her and not allowed her to speak and do her job.

How long until we see that international journalists are kicked out of Jerusalem ?

A Turkish state television journalist was badly wounded and another slightly hurt in Gaza on Friday, the TRT channel said, adding that the team had been targeted by an Israeli strike.

“The vehicle of a team from TRT Arabi [TRT’s Arabic-language channel] that was preparing to broadcast from the Nuseirat camp … was targeted by an Israeli army strike,” the broadcaster said, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

“Sami Shahada, a freelance cameraman, was badly wounded,” it added.
