Hopefully the thread will soon be reinstated as it was put up in the first place to think about practical ways to help the innocent people stuck under the bombardment and to demand ceasefire.

@Ohlalalalala I posted on your thread in Site Stuff. Threads like the one below, conflating Palestinians with Hamas, are left to stand, I don't get it.

Thank you for this post. I know the names of some of the missing or killed at the music festival by Hamas as it was widely publicised and I pray for them and their families.
This is the first post I've seen detailing the names ages etc of some of the Palestinians. It's as if they don't matter at all and are just a number.
I think it's blatantly obvious why some threads are deleted and others are left up...open your eyes everyone

I've been seeing the title but didn't feel the need to click on it as I assumed it was talking about Hamas!!!! And it's been standing for 3 days!!!!!! I have just reported it and I really hope MNHQ would do the right thing and delete the hateful thread. Shocking!

Exactly. All the Israeli victims of the attacks of the 7th have been talked about and their pictures put all over the media, and rightly so. But I couldn't find the same effort being done to even a fraction of the thousands who are being murdered everyday in Palestine. In fact, not at all. As if they were just one faceless species whose normal specialty is to die by the thousands. This is part of the compaign of dehumanisation they've been facing for over 50 years. 😔

I keep reading threads like this and want to post but I never know what to say. It’s beyond words the terror and horror they are bringing to Gaza over the past 24 hours. The switching off of communication seems particularly like something out of a novel, the dark to hide the storm. My heart bleeds for everyone involved and I don’t know what to do other than donate money.

Thank you for the pictures and stories. We can but hope for a ceasefire.

Names/ images of those palestinians killed will help substantiate number of palestinian deaths, so people believe that the number of palestinian killed is genuine. As some dispute that the number of palestinian deaths have been inflated as per Israeli view I heard on radio today.

MNHQ have edited the thread now. I reported it several times and we communicated and they were helpful enough to edit it a first time and after complaining again edited it again a second time. Thank you again for drawing my attention to the thread. We should be vigilant and keep reporting all the bigoted twisted threads like that one.

All the names and stories of each person - hopes and dreams should be written so that they can’t be erased. It should be turned into a book with all the money donated to help rebuild Gaza. each and every one of them mean something to someone and to us, we should all care about them.

I just watched a doc on Netflix by Hernan Zin called Born in Gaza made in 2014. Some of the children featured mentioned about their dreams of becoming doctors etc, just wondering if they still exist right now. So so sad. Thousands marched in London today which gives me hope that despite our spineless unelected politicians, the public have more courage and a moral compass than those who don't even represent us let alone humanity and peace. I hope for ceasefire, I hope for peace.

So so sad. Their stories are equally as important as were their dreams and hopes.

I Just saw a BBC news piece talking to a mother from Manchester whose daughter, Zainab, is trapped in Gaza after going there for a wedding. Zainab is a teacher in her twenties and the last her mother heard from her was a text before the internet blackout yesterday saying ‘I’m ok Mummy’. She hasn’t heard from her since. I don’t know why, but that has broken me. It’s so what my twenty year olds would text, it’s heartbreaking. I can’t find any other info on her but I would like to know. I’m a hard as nails old cow but I’m so, so upset by that. Please let her be ok.
