Hi everyone! Little bit of a gruesome post just need people to talk to as I have no one! I came of the pill 3 weeks ago. We had sex a few times using the pull out method. (I know , not great. But we would be happy if I was pregnant anyway). Does this look like early pregnancy discharge or pre period discharge?! I had a withdrawal bleed two weeks ago over a few days. So I’m not sure when my period would be due! I guess in a week. The discharge was like snot sorry TMI! :)

That looks like the start of EWCM (fertile cervical mucus)

Looks more like EWCM which you get before ovulation. Discharge before period is often sticky or dry, in early pregnancy is usually creamy. But there’s no definitive answer as a lot of things can affect it

There was a much bigger amount just after this! I only came off my pill three weeks ago so assumed I ovulated already. So do you think I could be ovulating? I was unsure what discharge looks like before a period of your pregnant. And on google I can’t find much!

When I had my coil removed it took me 3 weeks to ovulate, I think coming off hormones can delay it

You really should have a warning on your title about the image.

Impossible to tell from discharge alone, get a test if you think you could be.

Take a test. And buy some OPKs or start tracking BBT/CM/both.
Unlike PP I don’t think it looks like EWCM. But I couldn’t guess where you are in your cycle.
I had to use lube with hormonal contraception, it could be that your discharge is just returning to normal.

Sorry, I should add that if you don’t want to get pregnant you should use a more reliable method of contraception.

I just got BFP and been as dry as a desert so you can't tell from CM

@MrsMcGee93 are you pregnant? That’s got a thick kind of lumpy cottage cheese texture so I would get swabbed at the GP for an infection especially if you are pregnant. I’ve been pregnant 4 times and never had discharge like that but everyone is different so it could be normal. I don’t think it’s a discharge that’s an early pregnancy symptom though. That’s usually creamy but thin (like lotion) and not lumpy looking.

Hey yes 8 weeks. It’s not thick and lumpy today. But I’ll call dr just incase.

@MrsMcGee93 I would definitely call them just in case. They may say you don’t need to be swabbed but it’s so easy to fix if there is an infection. As you’re pregnant (make sure you say that) then you should be seen very quickly. It’s nothing to worry about 😊 it might be normal discharge for you as we are all different
