Clomid after mc and ERPC

I've recently had a missed miscarriage and opted for an ERPC, which was fine and seems to have worked. My pregnancy was the result of 18 months of trying and my third cycle of clomid. We're planning to try again but I've been told that I need to go back and see the cons, have a scan and wait at least a month before TTC and I just wondered wheter anyone else had found themselves in a similar situation and what they'd been advised to do? thanks

Hi, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Back in 2003/4 I was TTC for about a year before being put on Clomid as it was discovered I had polycystic ovaries and wasn't ovulating. First month I tried Clomid I got pregnant but unfortunately miscarried at about 7 weeks, on Christmas Eve 2003 (
I was told to wait three months before going back on Clomid and TTC again. Well I didn't, I waited one month, took it again and got pregnant straight away again! The result of that is my gorgeous 5-year old son! By the way, the Clomid and/or havinga baby seemed to sort out my ovulating problems as a couple of years later with no help from Clomid I got pregnant within about 48 hours of TTC!!!! And the result of that is my second lovely son. Good luck to you. x
