Is anyone else like me feeling a bit overwhelmed by reading these threads?

I've only been on the boards for a few days and will be officially be TTC on Friday when my IUD is removed. And while I'm loving that actuallly I'm not the only mental-clucky-want-to-be-knocked-up-now!!! girl out there, but I do rather find it off putting reading all these posts about ovulation days and testing impatience.

I'd just like to keep an eye on my pant snot, shag like a couple of rabbits on pant snot days, and then JS the rest of the time. Is that so bad?

If you feel the same, then please, please keep me company!

Hi Dellywyn. I know you mean. I think. I love my nieces and nephews (aged 5 - 17) and think how lovely it would be to have children but the whole idea of the getting up the duff, telling people, having a bump, having to listen to all the advice whether its asked for or not, giving birth and then being a new mum and dog tired, not to mention the goodbye body bit and the pressure to breast feed etc etc does put me off... i'd quite like me and my DH to just appear one day with kids of 3 and 5.

I agree with you, but my TTC days are long gone. I just did not use contraception. Sometimes when I thought the time was right I would seduce DH but I never told him.

I get pregnant very easily although I have had other problems. I presumed the ladies that do ovulation tests have had trouble conceiving and are trying to increase their chances. If you are just starting out then I think you are right just enjoy yourself.
