Travelling to Africa but TTC

Hi there
I'm completely new to this, and although I've found some posts that relate to this, I thought I'd just go ahead and ask anyway.
So the deal is, I'm off to Africa (Kenya) this September for 9 days. 6 days after I return, according to the fertility calendar, will be my optimum time TC. However I'll still be a couple of days away from finishing the course of Malarone, as you have to take it for 7 days after you return.
From what I've read it's recommended that you have to wait 2 weeks after you've stopped taking Malarone before you can start thinking about TTC.
So I just want to know if anyone else has had this experience and despite what I've written above whether you can just carry on regardless.
I'm so broody and am only holding off TTC now because of this damn trip, so don't want to wait any longer once I'm back.
Any advice or experiences that other people have had with TTC and Malaria tablets would be so appreciated.
Thank you.

my suggestion would be to not prevent conception but not try too hard - let nature decide! usually they are over - cautious with advice about medications.
however, i know nothing much about really it so it is just advice from someone who knows your frustration (and here i am now pregnant with number 2!!)
good luck x

Thanks Stinkypants
Really appreciate your advice - probably because it's what I want to hear. Can't bear the thought of having to wait another month, when I'm already waiting!
Just keen to get going.
xx
