Yawn... another one of THOSE questions....

Hi all,

OK so we are in cycle 1 of TTC after only deciding last week we were all systems go.

So we did the deed/BD/JS'd Tuesday night which was a celebration of our agreement and then all day Wed I had intense cramping. I assume this was due to OV as was about the right time.

My cycles are roughly 32 days long and now 5DPO I have terrible on and off cramping and needing to go to the toilet all the time. This is all fairly reminiscent of my last BFP... but surely not?? This is going to drive me mad until I can test as I ws expecting to be 'at it' for ages.

Sooooo, how soon would you test? I have only had 3 cycles since AF returned from DD1 as was BFing.

No advice as to whether it means you're pregnant or not, but sympathy on being driven nuts by the wait. I had (imagined?) implantation cramps, but don;t think I'm pregnant . . .period late but 4 BFNs. Maybe you;re not crazy like me and you don;t imagine these things though? Good luck with it, hopefully they were signs of comception for you.

I reckon you should wait until 12 dpo for a fairly reliable result.
Don't be disappointed if it is a BFN though - there is nothing like ttc for buggering up your cycle, giving you random cramps etc etc.

Thanks both, yes I am trying hard to prepare myself for this. I can't believe how much my mindset has altered in just a week!

So am on the 2WW?!
