I already have 3 almost grown up kids, but after re-marrying at 40, to a lovely man with no kids of his own, i find myself back TTC....after initially getting a natural pregnancy and then subsequent M/C at 8 weeks, we had a long wait where nothing happened-we have discovered my tubes are both blocked, Gawd knows why or how as I got pregnant easily enough??...time is of the essence at my age, but we were forced to have a years gap after I discovered a I had a benign brain tumour, and had to have radiotherapy, which has made me deaf in one ear-......our only option is IVF, we have done a couple of cycles and it hasnt worked, Because I am now getting older, we have been advised I would now have more success with Donor eggs We have tried that a couple of times and that did work but because of various outside factors ( drugs -lack of) I have had another M/C.
I am trying one more time, we are out of cash, and disheartened. My husband is devastated he may never have children of his own. He doesnt want 'any' children he really really wants his own.... I feel pressure and sadness that circumstances have lead to this situation. I also feel worried that my husbands desire to have children will destroy our relationship if our last try doesnt work. He has said more than once, he doesnt know how he will face the future without a baby of his own.
To top it all I am preparing for treatment again and have just had a borderline smear result back, which means yet more delays whilst I get this investigated.
It a bit of a nightmare

big sigh
