Does anyone else not get ovulation pains?

Just wanted a bit of reassurance really. I read so many posts where people mention having ovulation pains and it being really noticeable when they ovulate because of this.

I have never, to my knowledge, had ovulation pains - although I know when I ovulate from other signs and by using a CBFM and OPKs.

Just getting a little concerned that maybe my eggs aren't 'popping' or something lol, although Googling seems to bring up plenty of reassurance that OV pain isn't that common.

So if you have got pregnant without ever feeling OV pains, please come and reassure me that I am 'normal'.

celtic Before TTC I was the only person I knew with ovulation pains, to the point where I went to the GP thinking there was something wrong with me. I wouldn't worry about it

I never had them and have just got pregnant on 3rd month of trying. I think many people don't have them, so I wouldn't worry about it either.

I have never had them either and got pregnant really quickly with DD, now 2 years trying for DC2 and would find the ovulation pain quite handy!
I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

most women don't feel it. I've never been particularly aware of it. Something like 20% of women feel it, the rest don't.

I don't get them either which is quite annoying when TTC.
Round about when ov is due I try and focus on any twinges I may get - they never happen
It would be really useful to know when the exact time is, rather than guesssing the 36 hour window after a positive OPK!

IfAtFirst how are you? Haven't seen you on Charters for a while, hope things are ok.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 29/06/2010 15:43

Hi Spilt - I'll be back on soon, I seem to have unintentionally have taken a month off the obsessivness charting!

shitforbrains · 29/06/2010 15:52

I never felt them, then I got PG, and since DC's I now feel them.
Don't worry about it
