has anyone got a BFN testing early from first response then tested when af due or after and got BNP? i am still waiting for AF but still getting BFN

I'm well over two weeks late but I think I may have ovulated on Tuesday 15th June. I got BFNs with FR today, though it says it's 98% effective 2 days before AF is due (if that is when I'm due).

So I'd like to know the answer too!

Yes. I tested with a FR I think 4 days before I was due on. I didn't get a BFP until 3 days after I was due, probably because I ovulated late. And I tested basically every day in between because I am an idiot.

Early testing is a bad idea.

lol muser! Yeh i am starting to realise that early testing is not the best move! I must have ovulated much later than i thought as af not here yet! Will hold of testing for a few days!

to be honest I dont rate FRER at all. I got lovely lines with clearblue, and with some cheapie dipstick tests at 11dpo when preg with DD, but FRER didnt show any sort of positive until 15dpo.

LOL I dont even buy clearblue any more.
Actually, superdrug are cheapest early test - at 10miu, they are twice as sensitive as first response which is allegedly 25miu (same as clearblue, but clearblue is actually more like 15miu i have found. Nasty evaps though, hence not buying anymore)

My fave are actually ebay cheapies - if you get a visible fat pink line in the time limit on more than one consecutive test, you are preggers, and you can get 50 tests for about 6 quid. Supermarket tests are pretty good too I think.

Me too Lib76 - yesterday. So I def think I ovulated 15th June. At least I'm getting to know when things are happening though!

(Did four FRs, 2 Clear Blues, 15 One Steps, and 5 other internet cheapies. Gotta lay off them next month!)
