late ovulation within cycle...trying to concieve... need some support or help?

hi every one! sorry to bother you all. i have never done this before. i am looking for some advice and support if thats ok with you lot?
i seem to have a very late ovulation and can do with some advise. Me and the husband have been ttc for 6 months for the past few months ive been using OPK's. Anyways, my cycles are always 26 days(except for one month which was 28 days which was three months back, probably due to stress...). However ive been having the LH surge on day 16 (test still possitive at night time) so according to others i'ld be ovulating around day 17/18. thats only 8 days untill i have my period again. is that too late? please help if you can, im trying my best not to start panicking :-/

Try not to worry i have 28 day cycles and ovulate 16/17 well this is when OPK picks up positive rule of thumb is once positive result picked up ovulation occurs within 12-36 hours.

I gt pregnant within 3 months of TTC DD so i never had a prob i am currently ttc #2 although only on 2nd cycle.

I think you will find that some ppl ovulte even later

HI Nicola! oh im ever so relieved to find someone whos in the same boat! i was worrying like carzy as when i googled it it kept telling me that because my menstuation came quicker than other peoples, the egg wont have a chance to embed itself properly and i would keep miscarrying...
This is my 7th cycle now so fingers crossed it might happen, although ive no signs of 'implantation' or many symptoms yet and i should be due in the next few days (havent got my calender with me atm)
