pregnancies whilst using condoms?

My cycles are usually 27-28 days. we use condoms as contraception and haven't had one "fail" obviously. However am now on day 31. Found old preg test from when I had dd2 - was positive (but had expiry date of may2010) Panicked and bought 2 more tests - both negative. Still no period. Could I still be pregnant or can I be reassured by 2 negatives?

I have just googled this query - one site said only very occassionally does a test read a false positive - for example if the test was not done properly, or it was out of date. Maybe try another brand of test just to be absolutely sure? Sorry I can't be much more of a help - I'm sure someone who's experienced this will be along in a mo... All the very best x
