Whats going on?

Ok, have posted in GH too, but thought I'd give conception a go!

I am not pg. after last mc we have been ttc but not to the same degree. but... since the mc my hormones have been erratic to say the least. periods have been all over the place, unbelieveably heavy and painful one month (lasted over 2w) and light and barely there the next (lasted 2d) i have had mood swings the like of which i only experienced on clomid and spots to match. my period this month finished a week ago (was the short one) but i still feel pmtish (crying etc) and boobs are rock solid and huge. have done a hpt (paranoid much?) which was a definitive bfn. but wtf is going on?

am also getting frequent one-sided stabbing pains in ovarian region. varies which side, and not tubular because left tube was removed 3y ago.

Sorry not sure what's going on but have you been to see your gp to see if they can run some tests? I hope you get an answer soon.

In the last 6 weeks I've had a 3 week period, 1 week of & now just finished another 2 weeks. My blood count is normal but ended up going to A & E cos I bled so mush (they wasn't happy as they don't call it an emergency when you bleed through your clothes in an hour!)
Now waiting on an ultrasound to check whats going on.
I do suffer from PCOS. Originally gp thought it was a miscarriage but didn't do any tests just gave me antibiotics to make sure it wasn't an infection.

I hope your dr sorts this quicker than mine but don't expect the to rush!

christ that sounds horrendous! do they think its linked to PCOS?

They don't have a blinking clue. I think it's hormonal related! The nicest one about it was the GP I saw Tuesday who seemed to think it was linked to PCOS. Just have to wait & see what the scan says.
My first day in ages without bleeding & I feel so much better!!!

that sounds like a nightmare! we are already under a cons for rmc so hopefully gp might be able to get us an appt soonish

ok, ov'd today from tubed side. it was really, really painful (doubled over in pain)

You may not have ovulated from the tubed side at all.

Ovulation should not be that painful; the pain you experienced could well be due to adhesions or endometriosis.

You should see the consultant gynae asap.

ah bugger. i thought as much (either that or cysts or fibroids) I do have quite a few adhesions due to botched cs/laparotomy and it may be this that is a problem with my rmc issues. (its lissie btw) should I contact my gp or go straight to my cons?

would adhesions or endo affect my hormones? and would it not have been picked up during my tests?

ok, had spotting on CD8. something is definately up. we are back from holiday now so i will call 1st thing monday and get an appointment.
