Vasectomy reversal after 5 years?

Hiya

I'm a newbie to this forum after we've finally decided to try to number 2!

DH had a vasectomy reversal done 5 years ago, and after 2 years of trying they said he still had antibodies present and so our only chance was IVF. Thankfully, I got preggers the same month and have a beautiful 2.5 year old.

Spoke to my GP (different from DHs) who said to get a repeat SA to see how things are so we are waiting to arrange this at the moment. Just wondered if anyone else had this experience, and what the outcome was after a few years with scarring, etc.

Thanks

Hi there,
My Dh had a vasectomy reversal done nearly 6 years ago and after his op the surgeon told us that their was a lot of scarring and only gave us a 1 in 7 chance of having kids.Well since then we have had 3 so please don't give up hope. The fun part is trying to get pregnant so just relax and I'm sure it will happen especially as you have got pregnant before.Hope this helps
