We are trying for baby number 2 and have been getting real bad cramps like period pains and lower back ache. Is this a sign of early pregnancy? It has been 9 years since I had my first and TBH can't remember much about the early days of pregnancy.

Apparently it can be a sign of early pregancy, as well as the implantation process - not sure what stage your at. if you are concerned, I would contact the local Early Pregnancy Unit or the out of hours GP service.

I suppose I would be at the plantation process but like I say can't remember feeling like this with DS.

Is there anything that makes you think it isn't period pains?

I am not due for my monthlies till 1st july

OOOhh could well be implantation, when do you ovulate? do you know?
