mid cycle pains...ovulation?

Hello,

I have (for the last 6 months or so) 31 day cycles. I'm now on CD 10 and yesterday (CD9) and today I have slight period cramps and a bit of backache. I was wondering if this sounds like ovulation pain? It seems a bit early to me and also CM is still creamy, not EWCM.
What does ovulation feel like for those that feel it?

Ovulation to me is quite sore. A low down ache at the front, usually one-sided and a sort of bruised feeling and a red hot poker up the arse feeling at the back.

AArgh, I seem to have posted this thread 4 times and yet I can only see it in active convos .

Thanks for that SoH How would ov fit though with the lack of EWCM and it being so early?

Had sex the day before the pains, so wonder if a bfp would be poss this month?

No idea. I always have ov pain with ewcm apart from a single instance when I actually conceived. Was v confused. Odd month of weird pains and no discernible ewcm.

It's also possible to have an anovulatory cycle where you don't release an egg (sure you know this). Pain could be from vigorous sex/bruised cervix.

All sorts of things could account for it. Not unwell? Weeing more than often?

don't feel unwell. Pains are ever so slight, but feel like an impending period. But it can't be as only CD10.

I'm 43 been on combined pill for years had to come off it on 26/3 due to high BP had withdrawal bleed however in the last 48 hrs had what feels like bad period pains in back and side and the odd spotting assuming this is mid cycle hormones causing it anyone any ideas?
