hello everybody, This is my very first day on mums net!!!!!

used to post on babycentre but my birthboard kind of fell apart and everyone dissapeared to other sites and now im Thinking of TTC #2 wanted some friendly mums advice so joined here.

LO (Aidan) is 20 months and can be a handful at times but think he would benefit soooo much from a little brother or sister, BUT...... we are not in the greatest finacial situation but we manage and i dont see the point in me going back to work now if in a year or so im pregnant again should just get it all out the way now and then get back to work!!

so thats a little run down on me and my dilema ALL ADVICE IS WELCOME!!!!

THANKS MUMMIES xXX

Unless you are in the most dire financial state (which it sounds as though you're not) and really can't make it work, you should listen to your heart and not your head. Do you want another child? What's your gut reaction?

Don't think about whether your ds would benefit - he'll be fine either way. Think about what you and dp want. Does the idea seem good on paper or is it something that you can feel yourself yearning for. If it's the former, I'd wait a while. If it's the latter then hop onto the March bus and join all of us ttc ladies.

Welcome to Mumsnet, btw .

Ok so after chat with hubby we have decided to have #2 but he wantS us to have our holiday first without me being pregnant as i was pregnant with LO on our last holiday, so i said well it would be nice if i concieved while we were away which he agreed. We are going away in september so i will be jumping on the june bus (ithink).

when do you think i should have my implant removed tho as i would like to get my periods back to normal as i have only had 2 since LO waas born xXx

i would have ur implant removed straight away and use comdoms untill sept if you would like to conceive quite quickly when ttc as the longer you have had it out the more chance all the hormones would have gone.

But then when i had the implant i was told it wont take long for my body to get back to normal wen it got taken out (couple of months)

Good luck on trying to conceive and am that you got ur dh to want another chid aswell
