First message on here... here goes!

I currently take cerazette but managed to miss a couple of pills about three weeks ago, during which time I had sex with hubby without using any additional contraception.

In the last week or so I've been having tummy cramps, being very irritable, crying very easily, metallic taste in mouth and my skin has broken out in the worst spots I've ever had. Having said this, I've been under a lot of stress at work over the last couple of weeks, so most of these symptoms could be explained away by this.

I did a clearblue pregnancy test this morning, just to reassure myself I wasn't pregnant, and got a really weird result - a strong horizontal line, with a faint half vertical line underneath (looked like a cross with the top bit missing). This result isn't mentioned on the instructions! I just wondered if anyone else had experience of a result like this?

My pill has stopped my periods altogether so I have no way of knowing when would be the right time to test, but from the dates when things happened, it would be about 18 days since doing the deed with hubby!

I haven't heard of this before but if was you I'd do another test, and probably a digital one which will either say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" Good luck

Take the test apart - it may be that there wasn't quite enough wee on it and if you take the strip out you may be able to tell if that's the case. Think you'll need to test again anyway! Hope you get the result you want.

Have you tried ringing the clearblue helpline? Maybe they can help. All the best x

Clear blue's are rubbish, i used to get thin lines when i wasn't pregnant, try a first response or any other red dye test, try steer clear from the blue dye tests.

good luck
