Confused by test results

OK, I just want to check before I get overexcited

I tested yesterday (only 4 days overdue but last time I was this late I was pregnant with DD) and couldn't read the result clearly. It was a clearblue one that has a + or a -. The line was so faint that I couldn't tell if I was imagining it or not, so I got another test (Tesco brand) and it came back negative.

This morning there was still no sign of my period so I got a Boots digital one and it was positive.

So, do you think I am pregnant or not or somewhere in between? I've been having cramps for a few days but that happened the first time round as well. Can usually set a watch by my periods.

Check what level of pregnancy hormone each test measures - some are more sensitive than others.

if the boots digital says positive then im 99% sure you're pregnant.especially if you did the test first thing in the morning.

congratulations.

It doesn't say what level of hormones it picks up, there's some blurb on the box about how accurate it is but nothing specific.

Thanks mumandlovingit I will do the other test tomorrow morning just to be sure.

its v v v rare to get a false positive. i'd say you were pregnant.

Thanks I couldn't wait until tomorrow morning so I did the other test a couple of hours ago and it was positive as well! Just trying to let it sink in now....
