Here is a message I posted on a different forum, was interested to see if I got a similar opinion here....
"Basically I have very short cycles - between 21-23 days. Having charted briefly before conceiving my son I learnt that I ovulate on day 7 or 8 - I don't really need to chart now as I've tuned into the signs and I know that when I am ovulating I have EWCM and I get really ( and I mean REALLY) randy . Plus I don't really get an obvious temp shift so charting's kind of pointless in that sense.
Anyway I had all these signs of ovulation on day 7-8 as usual. I then had them all again on day 13-14! Now I'm confused!! I am now on CD18 and have been having grumbly period type pains today which I had last time during implantation - if it is implantation that would probably mean that I ov'd on day 7-8, all the timings would be normal for me and I could test this weekend. The ovulation signs on CD13-14 would be a blip. OR, I ov'd on day 13-14 and I should wait until the weekend after to test....
When would you test in my situation?"
The general consensus on that site was to test this weekend.
What do you ladies say?
