we decided to start trying for baby 2 so I came off the pill in Feb and just like last time my periods have been very irregular.

Last week decided this was the month to get serious with trying so I was feeling very excited by the prospect of getting pregnant but bloody lo and behold I have now been on my period on and off for 12 days!!!!

I feel quite down and sad...when will it end??

Just need to hera some words of encouragement I guess....

First the bad news. If your periods are irregular the chances are you are not ovulating regularly if at all. Now the good news. These problems are often caused by hormonal imbalances which can be treated but ttc with irregular periods certainly should not be left to pure chance.

I would also visit the GP and speak to him about this bleeding particularly if this has not happened before now.

Ooh, Attila, just the woman!!

I'm off to the gp on friday re my very irregular cycles. I already have a DS but my cycles range fron 32 days to 69 days and was wondering if you think there's anything specific I should ask?

I had day 3/21 bloods done last time which came back 'normal' and I'm pretty sure I ov as I chart my temps but it's all so irregular... do you think she'll suggest clomid?

Four months is nothing. You will forget about this within two months of that little blue line showing up!

My son (nearly two) presented me with a large dead rat while on a walk today - while his big sister giggled. You do realise this is what you are getting into?

Brewster · 07/06/2010 21:48

Oh sure my little man is almost 2 and I cant wait to have another little mischief maker causing all sorts of naughtiness!!
we had crayons all over the lounge wall yesterday!!!
