does anyone know if it is still generally recomended that you take folic acid before (if possible), and for the first few months of pregnancy? I have a 2 year old already but can't seem to remember a thing about preganacy.

Think it is, yes. They suggest that you take it for 3 months before if you can, then for the first 3 months of pregnancy.
