Since having DD 2 1/2 years ago I have been bleeding inbetween periods, I have seen my GP on many occasions about it but he is only just reffered me to the hospital and my appointment is not until the middle of August. Has anyone else been through anything similar?

Hi Emsie84 - bleeding in between periods can be anything but sometimes its completely normal it can be when the egg erupts out of the ovary, an imbalance of hormones or just your cervix lining erosion. Ask your doctor to send you for a blood test to test your hormones levels FSH etc as this can be done straight away - there is two blood tests one at day 3-4 of your period and the other at day 21 (as they test different hormones) I think you could just have an imblance. Also just a tip, I have had bleeding in between periods and after going on here have been taking Angus Castus herbal tablets for the last 6 weeks and this month no bleed yet so definitely think these are working (the regulate your periods). Hope this helps.
