My friend has had two eggs transferred into her. Good strong healthy ones. It is day 8. She has been told they attach to the womb if it happens at around day 10.

She has been told to do whatever she can to avoid being sick ie food poisoning/bugs whatever.

There is a tummy bug going around. We were with them this afternoon/evening and DD threw up after tea. She had been complaining of a sore belly for about half hour, then upchucked majorly. Now I don't think it is this bug doing the rounds, she did eat a lot today, and we spent a lot of time outdoors, she ran like a madhatter and swam in the stream/river (but in shade, in woodland, head covered, sun cream etc) - i think she might have overdone it with exercise and food.

however, if it is a bug, and we have passed it on to our friend, is there a risk of her eggs not attaching themselves? or affecting her hopeful pregnancy by being unwell?

We left quickly, after I cleaned up the sick and bleached the loo thoroughly! We did not hug/kiss goodbye, just scooted!

But I am worried. My friend has gone through so much, as you do when having IVF, she has come so far and has such good odds.
