Thanks :-) Got pregnant in 4 weeks last time, altho wasnt planned

I had a miscarriage in January 2009 and me and my partner have been trying since April 2010. I have a 5 yr old and both pregancies occurred really quickly and I am getting frustrated as this one is taking longer.....fingers crossed!

Just done test....positive. The worrying starts now......

I came off the pill on Monday too. Fingers crossed it happens quickly for us both

SaorAlba, weren't you on the waiting to ttc thread before? Have you started now? How exciting!
Still got another 2 cycles before we go for it. good luck to all! With DS I got pregnant on the second month after coming off the pill, hope you all have the same luck!

pip that's right. It comes round much quicker than you'd think.

However, was wrong earlier, it was the 24th I cam.e off the pill, not the 31st. Duh

People say leave it until uve had ur first proper period before trying, do you HAVE to do this?

Clare, I'm not. AFAIK, it's just so that the dates are more accurate. When I went to see the doctor to speak about TTCing he literally just said to start taking folic acid and stop taking the pill, so I'm fairly sure that your GP won't get on your back for not waiting.
