ovulating in the next 48 hours - right when should I have sex?

Have been wondering about this - when I get the smiley face on my ovulation test, might be today, might be tomorrow - is it still worth while having sex tomorrow evening, or will I have missed boat by then? Realistically, we can only manage twice during this time (getting on a bit!) so should it be twice today, or today and tomorrow! Never thought I'd type something with so much tmi in it!! Thank you for any tips!

id wait until your cervical mucous is like raw egg white.

afaik from reading on here those tests can be wildly inaccurate.

if not, then heres how.

insert 2 fingers inside, scoop aroung the cerix and bring some mucous out. if it can stretch for more than an inch then you're ovulating.

Do it now. Sperm takes a while to travel up your fallopian tubes, no point releasing the boys if they won't get there in time and your egg has already passed go and not collected a baby.

Had a shot this afternoon, will try to entice him again tonight I think rather than tomorrow. Don't remember it being this difficult when I conceived DS (but older now of course)
