I have been thinking along these lines for a long time.
I just cant see it happening, i cant see it in the future like i used to.

Do you ever think about this? What keeps you going?

I am so sorry. I don't know what to say but it must feel awful.

piratecat · 30/05/2010 12:09

i went thru the happy hopeful stage for 18 months of trying. Then I came to a realisation that it might never happen for me. Is this what youare feeling now?

AmandaCooper · 30/05/2010 15:11

That does sound awful. It's just impossible to dwell on these things, I don't know what to suggest. What does your doctor say?

AmandaCooper · 30/05/2010 15:12

Should say "impossible not to dwell on these things*

It is extremely hard to contemplate not having what you have dreamed of, and what you have been working toward for a very long time.

Have you been having fertility treatments? What are your doctors now advising?

Without more information, it is hard to know whether you have reason to hope/alternate treatments to pursue, etc.

I know how you are feeling and it is extremely hard to stay positive. every day is a struggle. i try to remind myself of all the things i have achieved so far and how much more i have still to do and focus on that. i know it isn't much help but i just wanted to say that i am going through the same and that it isn't a great place to be.
