Bleeding?? Implantation?? or just period?

Hi all,

I am sure lots of people have had this questions before, but here it goes anyway... We have just started trying for a baby this month, my last period started on 4 May, and I believe ovulation was around the 19th/20th (I didn't use an ovulation monitor or measure temperature). Anyway, my cycle is normally abour 30 days long, but yesterday at day 25 I got a light bleeding, which seems to have stopped now. It does feel like my period, but I am normally never early - plus it's stopped bleeding for the time being. Any ideas? Could this be implantation (it was 9-10 dpo)? I would really love to be pregnant, so it might all be in my head, and I might just have my period...but still...so early??

Hi. Could be implantation bleeding especially if this start-stop bleed is unusual for you. If you are desperate to know you could always buy one of the early test kits - I think they can work up to 7 days early. I am currently 33 wks with DC2 and when I found out I was pregnant this time I had had a bleed which I had assumed wrongly was my period, also has some period like pain and discomfort. I had an implantation bleed, and felt like pain on one side. Good luck
