weird... no period on day 33, one positive test and all the rest have been negative!!!

Can anyone help? I have still not got my period and am on cycle day 33, did a pregnancy test 2 days ago which was negative, did one yesterday morning first thing and it showed a negative first of all and then positive about half an hour later! Did a digital test first thing this morning and it showed negative and have just done another non-digital test which is also negative.

I'm not just imagining it, there's a definite plus sign in the postive test window but in none of the others!

Very confused - can anyone help or has anyone had the same experience? Am I being too optimistic?

The test may have come up positive because it was half an hour later. It can be an evaporation line not a positive because the HCG hormone is present. But because your period is late maybe wait a couple more days and retest. When I found out I was pregnant I didn't get a positive result until a week after my period was due. Goodluck

How long are your cycles normally? Unless you get a positive result within the time it says on the test (3mins i think) then you're probably not pregnant.

I'm in a weird situation too - normally regular as clockwork (28/29 days). This is second month of TTC - first month had a very faint positive with first response, and was then 3 days late (when i'm normally like clockwork) so apparently a chemical pregnancy and now all over the shop....

Thanks. Long story... have been doing IUI with injections so have been regular with ovulation. Didn't have an IUI attempt this monoth and also didn't do ovulation tests. Have had a very very stressful month workwise which may delay it but my periods normally are between 28 - 32 days. So... we'll see - fed up with it all to be honest

Hang on in there kiddo. i have just had the work from hell month...seriously late hours,stress etc. BUT have just done a pregnancy test and have got a BFP. Can't quite believe it - hope the same happens for you.
