Hi all!

I am a newbie here, and honestly didnt think I would be joining so soon! This is our 2nd month of TTC after coming off the pill, so cycles are still all over the place. However, for the last 5 days I have a tiny bit of brown spotting (a few specks) and af type cramps, but no af. So I took a test this morning and there was a faint +ve line!!! Does this mean I am pregnant??? And should i be worried about the spotting and funny cramps?

Thanks for reading this, hope I can join in other threads soon!!

Spotting and cramps are often signs of implantation. It is very rare to get a false positive so I will be the first to say...

CONGRATULATIONS

Oh and doctor won't want to see you until you are about 8 weeks. There are lots of good calculators to find out exactly how pg you are on the web.

YAY!

Wow! Thank you so much for the reply!

We really want to get excited but feel scared if you know what I mean.

So this spotting is normal? Thats good to know. I was also starting to doubt the faint line ( this is all so confusing!)

Thanks again for the reply x x

Faint is fine, you should find if you take another test (and I bet you will ) in the next few days it will be darker.
Spotting is normal 3rd paragraph

Also very normal to be scared and excited, I am quite what a wonderful time . Good luck with the rest of your pg.

I had period cramps quite bad but I was fine and now have a 6 month old. No spotting though.

Clear blue digital is great ...... no faintness just yes or no.

suzym1984 · 27/05/2010 20:02

Thanks for the replies! Will def do a digital test tomorrow. Cramps have not been painful, just niggly! And spotting has been a tiny amount, a few tiny specks, and brown not red (TMI!).

I just really hope its true, but dont wanna get my hopes up!

Congratulations Suzy!

Like you, I had a faint positive on cheapie test, and result of 2-3 weeks with Clearblue ..... My twins are now almost 6 months old!

And FWIW hpt with DD was not faint, very definite from early on.

My MIL has 3 sons, 1 daughter. Her youngest is DH, now 30, but she only had positive hpt with her daughter.

Weird!

Hope rest of your pregnancy goes well!

suzym1984 · 28/05/2010 07:50
