Cheap internet pregnancy tests.

I am on CD 28, due on either tomorrow or friday, I peed on a cheapy this morning and I can just about make out a barely perceptible pink line, if I squint and hold to the light. Anyone with experience of these tests, how reliable are they? Can you get an evaporation line with them?

You can get evaporation lines, but if your line appeared within the stated time then it is a line. If you test again in a couple of days hopefully it will be clearer.

Thanks- the stated time is 3-20mins and it definately appeared within that time frame. I am refraining from drinking this evening so I have extra concentrated wee tomorrow morning and I will test again then, sorry for TMI!

I used them with both my DDs - they are just as reliable as the expensive tests.

ooh - I had a negative experience with them actually. Friend bought a pack of 20 online (can't remember the make) and only used a few so passed them on to me just a month or two later. When I was certain I was pregnant (it was my 2nd pregnancy and I recognised LOTS of signs!) I did a test on the day my period was due and it came back negative. No period came and so I continued testing first thing in the morning for 5 days - ALL negative. Finally went out and bought a clearblue one and did it at 5pm and it came back with a V.Strong positive! I'm sure the internet tests were dodgy - no other explanation!

I have a thread on the conception board about this very thing! I had a very faint line yesterday on an internet cheapy, took a clearblue this morning and defo pregnant!
