anyone got a UTI whilst trying to concieve

me and DH are TTC and today i have what seams like the start of one.

is this going to affect our chances

Yes, I had one while TTC and another while pregnant. You will need antibiotics, please get it sorted quickly as they can become very painful quickly. TBH I didn't feel like trying again that month, so not sure if it affects anything.

I have had many in the past and they are not nice, i sent my urine into the doctors and the nurse called me and said that there is a trace of blood in it, but nothing else.
So she said the doctor will call me so im awaiting his phone call stuck in on a beautiful day as i cant go without a wee every 2 mins.

No we wont be trying this month now because of it

I got one while ttc - turns out I was 1 or 2 days pregnant when I got it! We checked that the antibiotics that I was prescribed were ok in pregnancy 'just in case', and everything turned out fine. Good luck with ttc x

I have got antibiotics that are safe. It seams to have settled down now thank goodness, i feel like i am drowning in cranberry juice lol.

I'm not realy sure and should asked my gp, but can you swi whist having a uti even if it feels better?

Hmm - best to avoid swi for a few days really ... not great but you do risk making things worse otherwise. But if you do decide to get jiggy, best to have a wee soon afterwards (sorry, TMI! )
