Suddenly having really long cycles - anyone else had this?

We are ttc but my periods have gone weird and I wondered if this had happened to anyone else. I had ds in 2007 and I feed him for 2 years. My periods did not come back until I had stopped. After that they were fairly normal although the first one was a bit of a beast!

My last two cycles have been really long though. I am currently two weeks overdue (took a test not positive ) I don't really understand what is happening, this has never happened to me before.

Anyone else had this?

I have 6 DCs and my cycle changed to 6 weeks after at least 3 of them, and stayed that way until the next pregnancy. Before children my cycles had always been 28 days.

If you want to understand your cycle more than mayby try charting your temperature, I think it's called charting your Basal Body Temperature, (BBT). You take it at the same time each day, normally in the morning before you even get out of bed. You will then be able to see when you are ovulating etc.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry.

How old are you, if you are 35 plus perhaps could this be perimenopause? Obviously that doesn't mean you can't still get pregnant if it is, but it may be an explanation

33, hope it is not that!
