are we getting enough?

Hello! Have been ttc for over a year now - it's a rollercoaster or incredible optimism and then disappointment and then optimisim again (such fun!).

I am ovulating at the moment - according to Clear Blue - first day of smiley face, but husband is away until Tuesday.

What is the best day to have sex at this time? How many times is everyone doing it on those days? We manage three of four times over a two day period from first day of smiley face. Is this enough?

Actually they say do it every other day during your fertile time. Just jump on him as soon as he gets back! Good luck.

How old are and how long have you been ttc for?.

If you have been ttc for over a year now it is in order to visit the GP. Both of you should have initial tests done to see where the problem lies. Infact I would ask the GP to refer you both as a couple now.

Sex two or three times a week throughout the month is fine. Do not go down the route of timing of intercourse as that can cause more harm than good.

OPK's are not without their problems particularly if periods are irregular in nature. At a year plus of ttc as well you are well beyond that stage of using these anyway.
