Hello everyone, I used to come on here about 12 months ago, but found out I was obsessing about getting pregnant.... well im still obsessing after 2 years ttc

I have just started my first round of clomid due to my oh having a low count. But went for a scan and was told that we are not allowed to try this month due to having 3 follicles..... but surely thats good! I ovulate anyway... so whats the point of me taking clomid if any more than one folical is bad?!!?

Anyone else had this experiance?

They just worry about the risk of multiple pregnancy and the ensuing increased risk to you and the babies if you were to fall pregnant.
I agree it is a real pain.
Clomid does seem a bit of an odd treatment plan if you are regularly ovulating anyway and the issue is more likely with your oh.

Hello!

I too have been prescribed Clomid even though I ovulate. The boyf's count is fine, just slightly lower motility.

I was scanned the first month & found 2 follicles, & was told to go away & have fun!!

I've just finished my second dose - no scan so no idea how many follicles - & am now starting the 2ww.

However, if nothing happens this month I'm going to go back to FC, as there seems to be a lot of people here who say that you should be closely monitored when on Clomid.

Its all a bit of a mystery really!

I’m just wondering what the outcome was taking clomid when oh has low sperm? I’m in the same boat
