starting clomid after my next bleed next week... anyone here for advice

now, im taking some hormone tablets to induce my bleeding as of tomorrow, which i start tomorrow for 5 days.

then am taking clomid for days 2-6 of bleed. I have not been advised to have scans and I know most people have?

also.... when is the best ovulation days? as I do not my cycle days, most say average is 28 days? but some say 34? would you say to do 10 days after first day of period for the best 5 days of ovulation?

OK, I had very irregular periods, I was told to take clomid on the same days as you...

I had no scans either... I was just prescribed the drugs at the fertility clinic we were seen at and left to it.

I was told to have intercourse every other day during the treatment for best effect. Although I believe if it regulates your cycle then you can treat it as a 28 day cycle.

I am in Ireland and am not sure if advice here would be different to the UK. I took clomid for all three of my pregnancies.

The first I got pregnant the month after I finished clomid, the second on my second cycle and my third on the first cycle.

did you use and drugs to make you bleed so you could start taking the clomid? what strength did you use? im on 50 for 3 months, then if this fails 100 for 3 months.

No I didn't use drugs to make me bleed - I just had to wait until I got my next period.

I was on 50mg for 3 months with first, 100mg for next three months and then 100mg with next two pregnancies.

It is really exciting and nerve wracking isn't it!

I started the prescription to induce the bleed today, so hopefully will start the clomid next week!
