Sore cervix......

Started a thread earlier and forgot to mention this bit. I'm due to ovulate tomorrow - which is day 9 of my cycle. I have EWCM today which is dead exciting because I never got that at all last time so it's a definite sign I am fertile!

But my cervix hurts - now it may be because DH and I were a bit 'vigorous' last night . But normally that wouldn't cause a problem unless my cervix was v. low i.e. not fertile. If I am ovulating and producing EWCM then my cervix must be pretty high ATM. Basically what I'm asking is, has anyone had a sore cervix without it getting a bashing? Can it be another sign of ovulation?

flootshoot when i ov my cervix usually feels sore. this usually happens the evening before ov, along with backache and ewcm. it feels bruised . and it wont be from 'bashing' as we dont usually dtd much before i get the pains. must be doing something right, im on my 5th pg in the last 2 years

Wow, that's interesting mumatron. It's amazing really - I read TCOYF last time we were TTC and now I can tell when I'm ovulating without any temping or anything. It's so handy!! I've got backache as well. I'm tempted to stay up and jump DH when he gets home but he's not in t till really late and I'm knackered from being up with DS last night....

well, im pg now and im sure it was conceived after one of dp's rather late, boozy football nights out. i just made sure i had a little sleep before he got in.
