anyone had faint lines on pregnancy tests?

im wondering what the difference is between faint line posistives and evaporation lines on pregnancy tests, ive had god knows how many faint positives in the last week but most have been over the time limit in which to check x

I think the time limit is crucial. If you don't get the line until after the time limit, then try your hardest to ignore the test.
Other people have mentioned that evaporation lines are grey rather than blue/pink.

Are you late?

I only had faint lines with DC3. Although they were all within the time limit, they were so faint you could hardly see them. After 2 weeks I bought a digital one that actually comes up with the words pregnant/not pregnant.

Obviously I was pg in this instance. Perhaps you should get one of these tests too?

I had really really faint positives with first response 5 days before my period was due, they developed in the time limit but got darker afterwards.

yes, first time was pg with DD1, second time was pg with DS1 and third time my AF was late by a week then 4 days later had an early MC. Apparently that happens a lot.

thanks guuys, im going to try and leave it till about friday and maybe test again, i just wasnt sure if even its after the time limit.. all off them and i mean a lot!! are coming up with the possitive lines, dunno if its possible to have every single one of them with evap lines x

Think it does depend on the time. If it's over 10 mins then you need to discount it. It should start to get stronger over a week. Are you late?

thats the thing i dont know, my periods havnt returned to normal since the birth, i havnt had a proper period since, just having light brown spotting today?? x

I had very very very very faint lines this time. Am now 22 weeks, touch wood all ok.

fingers crossed gunna just test again tomorow x
