This is my first month using the CBFM. Got a few high days then a couple of peak days around a week ago, but it's still asking me for test sticks every morning despite it being low every day now as I would expect. Is this just a cheeky way to get me to use more sticks so I ahve to buy more? Have nearly used 20 now, and I feel it's pointless continuing to test as I'm obviously past ovulation and waiting for AF.

Any advice - can I just ignore the requests for tests?

CanNeverDecide, it is just trying to learn as much about your cycle as poss. You will inevitably use all 20 sticks this time. It does this as some ladies have more than one peak so it is just making sure.

I have had three cycles using the CBFM and used 20 sticks the first time and ten sticks the second and third. In fact, I ov'd late this time and had used ten sticks by my first peak but it didn't ask me for any more. It assumed that I had another peak, then a high then all lows.

Probably best to do what it says [it's really demanding ] as it gives a fuller picture for subsequent cycles.

Thanks, Lychees. I have ignored the last few days' request for tests. Oops.

Will start again tomorrow. I got my high days and peak exactly when I would have expected them so thought it was pointless to carry on!
