Brown discharge sorry maybe TMI

My period was due last Thursday but so far, nothing, I have had really bad AF type cramps though. Well, went to the loo this morning and when I wiped there was brown discharge, so I thought that AF was on her way, went to the loo again and a little bit more brown discharge when I wiped but nothing on my ST. Last tested on Friday and BFN.
Is there still hope?

I had the same happen to me. I came off the pill in January and have had no period until the 19th April when i had brownish discharge which lasted all of 8 hours! i have since done 3 hpt all whch have been negative. I also had symptons such as feeling tired, stomach cramps. i am now really confussed as i not sure if that was a period and when it will happen again?

I had that for about 2 weeks - always brown and very slight. Tested positive. But then a mc at 7 weeks. Don't think there's any link between discharge and mc. It's the red stuff that's more worrying. Brown means old and is apparently not a problem. Try testing again. Good luck.
