Pregnancy Symptons no pregnancy

Hi, I am trying to get pregnant and in March and also this cycle I have had pregnancy symptons but no pregnancy, my period has started on time by one day or so.

I had a miscarriage last year (Oct so my body has had time to adjust) and have quiet strong early pregnancy symptons ie. blotting, lower twinges, different discharge, tiredness, hormonal and even breathing effected so I can distinguish from usually period which actually is quiet ok.

The first time this happened, it just lasted for about a week from my most fertile dates and then stopped so I knew that I would get my period.

This time however the symptons continued, the blotting was v strong,I could do up one or two of my normal skirts and someone offer me a seat I am quiet small and a size 8-10 so a distended stomach tends to notice.

Then at the weekend my period started, no clotting etc. and my stomach flattened. It is meant to be the other way around

Anyway I have been very upset all weekend as naturally there is a disappointment if not pregnant usually but this is quiet exhausting and distressing particularly as it is the second time (although last time was not so pronounced).

I mentioned to the doctor last time, and she just said well alot of pregnancies don't take early on, it is not uncommon. I understand that but is it common to have such strong symptons and then not have a pregnancy?

My boyfriend and I discussed phantom pregnancy, but sort of decided that was not the case...as whilst I am desparate to have a child I am not always thinking this month it will happen, I am a bit more of a pessimist. I need to be more optimistic that we will have a family, so we both think this is an unlikely explanation.

Anyway sorry for the long message!

Oh I should have mentioned, last time this happened, I went to the osteopath as I had some pains, and she said my body was confused as it had started to move into a pregnancy position and had not naturally moved back again. I have made a appointment with her for tomorrow to see if it has done the same this month.
